Savage is proud to finally announce our newest project with our friends at the City of South Milwaukee: South Milwaukee Sam!
When South Milwaukee reached out to us for a one-of-a-kind campaign to get residents and visitors excited about the city, we knew we had to do something… big.
Being one of our hairiest secrets to keep, we’re elated to see Sam finally out in the wild with his Sam Fans!
South Milwaukee’s Newest Resident
After a long and solitary life, Sam happened to stumble upon South Milwaukee. Seeking a place to settle down and be accepted for who he truly was, this city quickly became the ideal place for a Sasquatch. It wasn’t long before the city announced him as the official spokesperson for the City of South Milwaukee.
Sam resides in the famous forestry of South Milwaukee’s Grant Park–spending his days doing beach side yoga, photo-bombing couples’ photoshoots, and of course meeting and greeting all of his Sam Fans. His days downtown are spent trying new restaurants, getting his hair trimmed at the local barber shop, browsing through local stores, and getting to know the heart and soul of South Milwaukee—its residents.
Out in the Wild
It’s safe to say Sam is having the summer of a lifetime! He made his first appearance at the South Milwaukee Fire Department’s Brat & Tot Fry earlier this week. From becoming a lead guitarist at the South Milwaukee Downtown Market, to parading through the streets for the South Milwaukee Heritage Days, the city is giving Sam a warm welcome. Sam’s whereabouts and events can be found on his website’s tracker.
Savage Spotted Sam
All Sasquatch jokes aside, the Savage team could not be more proud to have had each team member contribute to this campaign project (for the first time in company history!) From creating a Sam-centered website, custom designing a suit and mask, strategic photo and video shooting, creative directing, planning a social plan of action, and so much more, it’s a Sam-tastic feeling watching this project come to life. With shout outs from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and WISN 12 News, this is just the start of something spectacular.
With that being said, we’re ready to show Sam off to the world. Take a trip to South Milwaukee and spot Sam for yourself! Nothing makes him happier than saying hello to his Sam Fans. He may have big feet, but his heart’s even bigger.
(P.S. tag your photos to #SMKESam to become a true member of his Sam Fans)
