Our relationship with Pedone Pinsa dates back to 2018, when owner, Chef Carlo Pedone, asked Savage to help build a brand identity for an array of pinsa-related opportunities. From selling bags of flour, to teaching pinsa-making courses across the globe, Pedone Pinsa’s brand was a kaleidoscope of complex ideas.
We reconnected in 2021, and agreed on a clear direction: we went all-in on Pedone Pinsa’s unique ability to hand-press and par-bake pinsa crusts to perfection, providing the perfect solution for every kitchen.
All about that crust
Inspired by Chef Carlo’s passion for pinsa, people, and the Pedone name, Savage infused love into every aspect of the brand—from heartfelt messaging, to warm design elements, to mouthwatering photography, and more.
It was easy to lean into the benefits of this customizable, crave-worthy, and cost-effective crust. While practically weightless, pinsa is packed with flavor—everyone falls in love at first bite. We built the brand around the care that goes into each and every crust, as well as Carlo’s industry expertise. His experience as a restaurant owner and operator immediately earned the trust of chefs and restaurateurs alike.
Since the Roman Empire, pinsa has stood the test of time. But despite its centuries-old history, pinsa is still relatively new to the U.S. Therefore, Savage built the Pedone Pinsa website around educating the masses on the origins and benefits of pinsa, as well as recipe ideas, Carlo’s family story, and business collateral for industry partners and distributors.
